"I started writing almost as soon as I'd released my previous album Querencia, in April 2022.

Through Atlantic storms, record-breaking heatwaves and freezing sub-zero nights, I continued my unwavering quest to keep the Dad Rock flag flying high.

This time around the lyrics are much more personal, so much so that I decided the cover art required a close-up picture of my craggy old self, something I usually try to avoid."
